A broad learning market, easier to use with a guide
Azerbaijan's professional-learning landscape is broader than it first appears. State agencies run free business and digital programmes. Universities offer executive and corporate courses. Private academies teach technology, marketing and finance. Baku hosts international exhibitions and forums throughout the year.
It is also fragmented. Information sits across agency pages, provider sites and event calendars, often in one language only. That is where we help.

- State-backed skills programmesSME development centres, digital-skills agencies and sector training centres.
- Executive and corporate learninguniversity executive education and professional-services academies publish open and custom programmes.
- Technology and AIa national AI strategy for 2025 to 2028, an innovation and digital development agency, and active coding and cybersecurity academies.
- EventsBaku Expo Center and Baku Convention Center host sector exhibitions and forums on construction, energy, agriculture, health and innovation.
- Locationa meeting point between Europe, the Gulf, Türkiye and Central Asia, with e-visa access for many nationalities.

Attending an event in Baku?
We check the programme, help you register with the organiser and plan everything around it: flights, hotel, transfers, interpreter and meetings.
Professional study visits and learning trips
A study visit combines learning with seeing how things work in practice. We build the programme around what is publicly possible and what hosts confirm in writing.

| Visit type | Open to visitors | Needs host confirmation |
|---|---|---|
| Business delegation | Public forums and chamber events open to non-members | Company and institution meetings |
| Industry visit | Public information on industrial parks and exhibitions | Any site or factory entry |
| Agriculture learning visit | Agriculture exhibitions (ticketed) | Farms, research stations, laboratories |
| Hospitality benchmarking | Staying as guests; public areas | Back-of-house tours; meetings with management |
| Technology and innovation tour | Public events at innovation hubs | Tours of incubation areas; meetings with startups |
| Energy-sector familiarisation | Public exhibitions and forums | Any operator site visit |
| Trade-show attendance | Visitor registration at the exhibition venue | Exhibitor meetings by appointment |
We never promise access that has not been arranged. Every host meeting in your programme is confirmed in writing before you travel.
State and public programmes: what they are and who can join
Several state bodies run training programmes. They are useful to know about, but each has its own eligibility rules and application route. We do not control access to any of them, and we have no partnership with any state body.

| Programme type | Run by | Who can usually join |
|---|---|---|
| SME and entrepreneurship sessions | Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) SME development centres | Entrepreneurs and prospective entrepreneurs; free |
| Startup certificate (a tax status, not a training credential) | KOBİA | Micro and small businesses with an eligible innovation project |
| Digital-skills scholarships and cybersecurity training | Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) | Some programmes are for Azerbaijani citizens only |
| Vocational training and self-employment support | State Employment Agency, with the vocational education system | Registered jobseekers and priority groups |
| Farmer training | Agrarian Services Agency | Farmers, entrepreneurs and specialists |
| Small-business advisory | EU4Business, including EBRD advice for small businesses | Eligible small businesses |
Information only. Eligibility and access are decided by the programme owner.

Learning in your language, or with interpretation
In the course listings we reviewed, Azerbaijani is the most common delivery language. English is common in executive programmes and international exam preparation. Russian and Turkish appear in some courses, often online. We found no professional course delivered in Arabic in Azerbaijan.

Yes. Bespoke programmes are designed with you and the trainer: topic, length, format, language and location.
Can you find AI training?
Yes. For technical learners we can point to AI engineering and data courses. For non-technical teams we coordinate practical, role-based AI programmes delivered by external qualified trainers.
Can you find management or leadership courses?
Yes. Options include open executive seminars, professional-services academy courses and custom leadership formats.
Do you arrange language courses?
Yes. We can find group or individual courses and exam preparation, or coordinate business-language sessions for a team.
Can you coordinate attendance at a conference or exhibition?
Yes. We check the programme, help you register with the organiser and plan travel, hotel, transfers, interpretation and meetings. The organiser runs the event and its registration.
Can you arrange a study visit?
Yes, where hosts agree. We build the programme around public events and host meetings confirmed in writing before you travel.
Is training available in English?
Yes, especially executive programmes and international exam preparation. Many other courses are taught only in Azerbaijani, so we check the delivery language for each one.
Is training available in Arabic?
We found no professional course delivered in Arabic in Azerbaijan. For bespoke programmes we can look for an Arabic-speaking trainer or arrange interpretation where suitable. If neither works, we will tell you.
Is training available in Russian?
Some courses and trainers work in Russian, and Russian-speaking trainers can be sourced for bespoke programmes. We confirm availability for each request.
Do courses come with a certificate?
Some do and some don't. We confirm in writing, before booking, whether a certificate is issued, what kind it is and who issues it.
Who issues the certificate?
The provider or body named in the programme details. ALVERA does not issue certificates for training it coordinates.
Are the certificates accredited?
Only where the issuing body holds that accreditation, and we check the claim before repeating it. A provider's own certificate is not an accredited qualification. Professional certifications such as PMP are awarded only by the certification body after its exam.
Can you arrange interpreters?
Yes, where suitable and subject to availability: consecutive interpretation for smaller groups, and simultaneous interpretation with equipment for larger events.
Can you arrange the venue, hotel and transport?
Yes. We coordinate the venue, hotel, transfers, catering and audio-visual with suppliers, and show each as a separate cost.
Can international participants attend?
Yes, in many cases. We help with the programme, registration, entry information, travel and hotel. Some state programmes are only for citizens or registered jobseekers, and we will tell you when that applies.
Can you arrange a programme for one person?
Yes. An individual can join an open course, and one-to-one coaching or tutoring can be arranged in some subjects.
Can you arrange training for 20, 50 or 100 staff?
Yes. Larger groups are usually split into cohorts or parallel sessions so the training stays practical. We plan venues, trainers and interpretation to match.
How far in advance should we plan?
It depends on the group size, the trainer's availability and whether visitors need to travel. Share your preferred dates as early as you can and we will give you a realistic timeline.
Can you organise a private workshop?
Yes. Private workshops can run at your office, a hotel or a business centre, in person or online.
Can we combine training with a business visit?
Yes. We can add business meetings, site visits confirmed by hosts and practical arrangements around your programme.
Is this the same as studying at a university in Azerbaijan?
No. This page is about short, professional and corporate learning. For degree programmes and university admissions, see Study in Azerbaijan. Study in Azerbaijan
Can I join state training programmes through you?
We can explain what exists and how to apply. Access is decided by the programme owner under its own eligibility rules. We have no partnership with any state body.
Will training help me get a job or promotion?
Training builds skills and knowledge. It does not guarantee employment, promotion, a salary change, a licence or an exam result.
How much does it cost?
Each cost is shown separately: the provider's or organiser's fee, our coordination fee, and any hotel, transport, venue or interpretation costs. Our fee is agreed in writing before we start.
Do you receive commission from providers?
Any commercial arrangement with a provider is disclosed to you in writing before you decide.
Can training be delivered online?
Yes, where the provider or trainer offers it. Many courses are in person; some are online or hybrid. We confirm the format for each option.

Start with a goal, and we will find the path
Tell us what you or your team want to learn, when and in which language. We will come back with realistic options, the providers behind them and every cost in its own box.
